Chichester Marina Visitor Information

 

    • As one of the most beautiful natural sailing areas on the South Coast, Chichester Marina has a lot to offer with its beaches, wildlife, walks and cycle routes. 
    • There are good pubs close by and pretty villages such as Bosham, Itchenor, Dell quay and Emsworth within easy reach. 
    • The historic city of Chichester is just a few miles away with good shops, restaurants and cafes, a health club, new cinema and a renowned theatre.

Walks

If you would like to explore outside of the harbour, there are several picturesque walks leading to the surrounding villages and other areas of natural beauty.

Chichester to East Head is a 12.5 mile walk starting from the historic city of Chichester and ending at the sand dunes of East Head along the Chichester Canal.

Dell Quay Circular is a 4 mile "figure of eight" walk through the stunningly beautiful harbour countryside, passing along the shoreline via an old canal.

Bosham and Itchenor is a 7 mile circular walk passing through the harbour villages of Bosham and Itchenor, with a ferry ride in between.

Cycle Routes

Salterns Way in an 18km cycle route from the centre of Chichester to the sand dunes of East Head. The route follows rural roads and cycle paths through the countryside. It has been funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and is managed by Chichester Harbour Conservancy.
